That’s twice in the past week Trump has walked back a tariff measure he
said he wouldn’t walk back. He’ll probably claim it was a negotiating
tactic, but these concessions were made even before negotiations have even
started. He simply gave those positions away, without getting anything in
return.

So tech goods are being exempted from those punitive tariffs on China.
Wasn’t the point of those tariffs to bring those jobs back to the US? Or
has the Orange One given up on bringing those jobs back to the US? Is he
going to Make America Great Again, but only in less advanced industries?

Some people have tried to claim he’s doing some really smart maneouvring
or something. When in fact he’s really just stupid, and has no clue what
he’s doing.

He doesn't look weak. He is weak. He's ignorant and a fool.
Anyone with a brain could see he was going to screw the USA by fucking with
the bond markets. He's been led by the nose by Navarro who is obviously a
clueless Guinea.

Of course Trump likes Navarro.

They are both convicted felons.

Contempt of Congress is a misdemeanor, not a felony. But like Trump, Navarro is
a convicted criminal.

I don't know if every move he makes will be the correct one. But
someone needs to do something about the federal debt and the interest
being paid every year. It is close to one trillion dollars. Stop all
the foolish spending and stop spending more than you take in. No
company or family could continue what Washington has done.

You're replying to Jonathon (RUDY) Ball who knows nothing about
government spending. Jonathon uses other people's name and address
because everybody ignores him.

That is the job of Congress not a president. Elect the Congress

Or of course we could simply restore all of the tax breaks to the rich
which have been enacted by the GOP since Reagan.

Had we never done those, we would have had +$45T in additional revenue,
which means ZERO deficit, and ZERO national debt.

Heck, even if one would have prevented just Trump's 2017 TCJA giveaway
would have saved $2T-$3T .. and preventing it from being extended will
prevent an additional $37T in new (yes, additional) debt.

Another week (weak), another backdown

He’s even kind of admitting that his disparaging of Jerome Powell’s
competence was out of line.

Bessent and Lutnik talked him out of it. He only has to wait a year
to choose a new one.

Living with HIS choice for four years is enough to give me nightmares.
With THIS appointment, the Senate needs to NOT rubberstamp a MAGA
choice.

And now he’s slowly realizing that maybe he has completely underestimated
Vladimir Putin. The poor guy is thinking maybe, just maybe, there is the
teentsy-weentsy chance--shocking and hard to believe--that Vladimir
Vladimirovich might just be stringing him along over a peace deal with
Ukraine.

Has he not realized by now that the Russian leader is a ruthless dictator
who can smell weakness a mile off? And the stench of weakness is currently
clinging to the Orange Idiot like a year’s accumulation of unwashed socks.

Putin plays Trump like a fiddle.

As does every other dictator. Just
praise Trump enough and he will fall
in love with out. What a patsy.

"I was really tough and so was Kim Jong-un,
and we went back and forth," Trump told an
adoring crowd of thousands at Wesbanco Arena
in Wheeling. "And then we fell in love, OK?
No, really, he wrote me beautiful letters,
and they’re great letters. We fell in love."

Trump is famous for being easily bamboozled. All you have to do is
bow, scrape and tell him how great he is. Then you can take him for
everything you can get.
