China on Sunday backed its close ally Pakistan in safeguarding
its sovereignty and security interests, with foreign minister

in the aftermath of the terror attack in Pahalgam.

Is China behind some of this ???

A big war between India and Pakistan would give
China the big excuse it needs to move in lots
of troops and firepower to support its "friend".
They could hold all of Pakistan and parts of
India all while claiming to be "peace-keepers".

They'd never leave.

Vast resources in that geography - and access to
the Indian Ocean too.

Oh, and if even one nuke goes off - the fallout
would drift straight up into Chinese territory,
giving them license to do pretty much anything
they want.
