The attorney general for Missouri, Andrew Bailey, has just declared
that he’ll be filing a lawsuit against the State of New York for their
“unconstitutional lawfare against President Trump”.

Here’s what he announced:

I will be filing suit against the State of New York for their direct
attack on our democratic process through unconstitutional lawfare
against President Trump.

It’s time to restore the rule of law.

— Attorney General Andrew Bailey (@AGAndrewBailey) June 21, 2024

We have to fight back against a rogue prosecutor who is trying to take
a presidential candidate off the campaign trail. It sabotages
Missourians’ right to a free and fair election.

Stay tuned.

— Attorney General Andrew Bailey (@AGAndrewBailey) June 21, 2024

I’m glad that Bailey is fighting back like this and I can only hope
this will give the Supreme Court what it needs to do something about
the corrupt prosecution against Trump.

Where does the Atty General of Missouri
have jurisdiction over what happens to Trump
in New York?

Huh? How does Trump's legal problems
in New York affect elections in Missouri?
This party hack is just trying Kiss The Ring

He was going to spend his day suing China over that shitty Chow Mein Uber
Eats dropped off yesterday but decided that kissing Trump's ass with a bogus
stunt lawsuit on the taxpayer tab would be more productive.

Tomorrow he's going to sue the toilet paper companies because he gets shit
all over his hands when he tries to wipe himself clean.

State vs State cases can go straight to the Supremes. It could be
a Hail Marty ploy to overturn before sentencing.

Missouri AG Andrew Bailey on why he’s suing New York

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey says he suing the state of New
York to put a stop to the unconstitutional lawfare against former
President Donald Trump. “Under Article 3 Section 2 of the United States
Constitution, the Supreme Court has original jurisdictions when states
have conflicts with other states,” he says. “Well, Missouri has a big
problem with New York right now. We are taking them to court and are
going to fight to put a stop to it.” Additional interview with former
Veterans Affairs Secretary Peter O’Rourke on how the Biden
administration has reversed Trump’s progress made for the veterans
community.

Because he wants headlines. Remember when
the Texas AG sued Georgia because HE thought
their election was not handled properly? Even
the GOP Supreme Court threw that out in a hurry.
But it made him a darling of the Trumpists.

To gain standing, Missouri must demonstrate an "injury in fact" that can
be redressed by SCOTUS. The conviction does not prevent Trump from
running in Missouri or deprive its citizens from voting for him. What
then is Missouri's injury?

Perhaps there is standing on that issue (the people of Missouri deserve
to hear what Trump has to say), but that's not what the AG is suing
about. Not to mention, it is far too late for redress.

On the merits of the gag order, Trump is already free to criticize the
judge and Bragg, and the outcome of the case as being rigged. The only
things he can't do is bring up specific witnesses, jurors, prosecutors
other than Bragg, and family members. I think that is sufficient for
Trump to make his case.

Well, too fucking bad for him. Candidates for political office don't get an

Two judges Merchan and Engoron have tried to interfere with a
presidential election. Trump is to be sentenced July 11, and could
go to jail.
Current and former imprisonment doesn't prevent election.
If he goes to jail it will prevent him from campaigning for
president.
Well, too fucking bad for him. Candidates for political office don't
get an exemption from prosecution. The prosecutions of Trump are not
"election interference."
Where were the Republican "election
interference!" calls when the reelection
campaigns of Democrats Menendez and Weiner
and Jefferson and Cuellar and Blagojevich
were derailed by crimminal prosecutions?

least those who are eligible.
You can count on it.

Well he won't get any votes from Florida. We don't allow our convicts to vote even after
they're out of prison.

Two major Democratic clients of the daughter of the judge overseeing
Donald Trump’s hush-money trial have raised at least $93 million in
campaign donations — and used the case in their solicitation emails —
raising renewed concerns that the jurist has a major conflict of
interest.

Trump’s attorneys are considering filing another motion demanding
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan recuse himself from the
trial set to begin April 15, sources said.

The judge’s daughter, Loren Merchan, is president of Authentic
Campaigns, a Chicago-based progressive political consulting firm whose
top clients include Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), who was the lead
prosecutor in Trump’s first impeachment trial, and the Senate Majority
PAC, a major party fundraiser...

... and lots of other Democrats who aren't associated with anybody associated with the
trial have been using the trial in their fund raising.

Your claim is bogus.

The judge's daughter did not in any way "profit off the trial." She was a
Democratic political consultant before, during and after the trial. Unless you
can "prove" that her business grew, or that her hourly billing rate increased,
and further prove that it was *directly* due to the trial and her filial
connection to the judge — which, of course, you cannot — then you are completely
full of shit.

Bullshit.

There's only one 't' in "profited," you illiterate shitworm.

The gag order, most of which has been lifted, does *not in any way* interfere
with the election. The gag order is still necessary because when Trump lies
about people, his knuckle-dragging fuckwitted slavish followers start
threatening people with physical harm and in some cases acting on it. Trump
incites violence.

That's part of why Justice Merchan lifted some of the gag order. However,
#FelonDon has not yet been sentenced, so technically the *case* isn't over.

This could work to #FelonDon's detriment. If he starts running his mouth
attacking witnesses and jurors between now and sentencing, that could adversely
impact the sentence.

State's rights?
Not when their intention is to interfere with a federal
election. Duh...
Missouri runs elections in NewYork?
The states all have a vested interest in federal elections. New
York violating the Constitution in a Presidential election makes
Missour a party with standng to sue.
Where in the Constitution?
Missouri AG Andrew Bailey on why he’s suing New York
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey says he suing the state of
New York to put a stop to the unconstitutional lawfare against
former President Donald Trump. “Under Article 3 Section 2 of the
United States Constitution, the Supreme Court has original
jurisdictions when states have conflicts with other states,” he
says. “Well, Missouri has a big problem with New York right now.
We are taking them to court and are going to fight to put a stop
to it.” Additional interview with former Veterans Affairs
Secretary Peter O’Rourke on how the Biden administration has
reversed Trump’s progress made for the veterans community.

To gain standing, Missouri must demonstrate an "injury in fact"
that can be redressed by SCOTUS. The conviction does not prevent
Trump from running in Missouri or deprive its citizens from voting
for him. What then is Missouri's injury?
What about the gag order during the debate with Biden?
Perhaps there is standing on that issue (the people of Missouri
deserve to hear what Trump has to say), but that's not what the AG is
suing about. Not to mention, it is far too late for redress.
It's part of what he's suing for. Unconstitutional lawfare.
Please provide a citation that he is suing about the gag order.

On the merits of the gag order, Trump is already free to criticize
the judge and Bragg, and the outcome of the case as being rigged. The
only things he can't do is bring up specific witnesses, jurors,
prosecutors other than Bragg, and family members. I think that is
sufficient for Trump to make his case.
I just hope it makes it to the Supreme Court.
Two judges Merchan and Engoron have tried to interfere with a

If he goes to jail, then perhaps Missouri can sue claiming Missouri
voters will be deprived of his ability to campaign. But, not yet.

Seriously Josh? This is perhaps the worst spin I've seen from. The
injury is that the trial was used to damage a Presidential candidate
nationally by pinning the label of "convicted felon" on him. Each and
every state is directly harmed by New York's actions.

To gain standing, Missouri must demonstrate an "injury in fact" that can
be redressed by SCOTUS. The conviction does not prevent Trump from
running in Missouri or deprive its citizens from voting for him. What
then is Missouri's injury?
Seriously Josh? This is perhaps the worst spin I've seen from. The
injury is that the trial was used to damage a Presidential candidate
nationally by pinning the label of "convicted felon" on him. Each and
every state is directly harmed by New York's actions.
In what way? Anybody who wants to vote for him is free to do so just as he's free to
campaign as he sees fit. And as you and so many others have noted, every time he gets
smacked down by the Deep State, his polls numbers go up.

So what's your damage, girlfriend?

Somehow you lost your accounts with both Easynews and Giganews within

How'd that happen?

Giganews was a trial. Didn't care for it.

As for the rest, I've already told you. Pity you missed it.

State's rights?
Not when their intention is to interfere with a federal election.
Duh...
Missouri runs elections in NewYork?
The states all have a vested interest in federal elections. New
York violating the Constitution in a Presidential election makes
Missour a party with standng to sue.
Where in the Constitution?
Missouri AG Andrew Bailey on why he’s suing New York
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey says he suing the state of New

In other words, they aren't suing over the election, they're suing over New York State
laws that Missouri doesn't like.

Nope. That's why TexASS had their ass handed to them when they tried to sue
Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in 2020. The Supreme Court told
the felon Ken Paxton, "Get the fuck out of here — you have no standing." This is
no different. The cracker Missouri AG has absolutely no standing to sue the
state of New York over which criminal cases it prosecutes.

The attorney general for Missouri, Andrew Bailey, has just declared
that he’ll be filing a lawsuit against the State of New York for their
“unconstitutional lawfare against President Trump”.
I will be filing suit against the State of New York for their direct
attack on our democratic process through unconstitutional lawfare
against President Trump.
It’s time to restore the rule of law.
We have to fight back against a rogue prosecutor who is trying to take
a presidential candidate off the campaign trail. It sabotages
Missourians’ right to a free and fair election.
Stay tuned.
I’m glad that Bailey is fighting back like this and I can only hope
this will give the Supreme Court what it needs to do something about
the corrupt prosecution against Trump.

Complete and utter bullshit. It was a valid and thorough trial, and all of
Trump's legal rights were respected. DA Bragg conducted a masterful prosecution.
Even many legal professionals who were initially very skeptical of the case
reached that conclusion.

Trump is a crook, as everyone knows, and he finally was held accountable for
just one of his many criminal endeavors.

Riotting into the Capitol to destroy EC votes and stop counting
them is just a jolly holiday with Mary.

Enforcing your laws in a city courthouse is insurrection.

insurrection. Weren't you one of the ones whining about that after

Going nowhere. This fucking shitworm has no standing to sue. This is exactly
like the state of Texas trying, and failing, to sue the states of Georgia,
Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin in the last election. The Supreme Court
dismissed it without comment. That is going to happen here as well.
