How To Fix The Crime Problem In Chicago

Let’s say you run Chicago. And let’s say the social scientists,
criminologists and community activists come to you and say gang
violence is going crazy—crazy enough in some neighborhoods to make
Chicago the per-capita murder capital of the United States.

Do you face reality and try to solve the problem by, you know, going
after the people committing murder and by getting government
restrictions out of the way so good people can protect themselves? Or
do you use your position to blame the freedom enjoyed by people
outside of Chicago for your city’s out-of-control murder rate?

If you chose the first method, then your name isn’t Rahm Emanuel—or,
for that matter, Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.

Chicago’s Mayor Emanuel, Obama’s former chief of staff, has said,
“Chicago’s violence problem is largely a gun problem,” as if guns, all
by themselves, have decided they don’t much like the residents of some
Chicago neighborhoods.

..............................

According to ATF statistics, the majority of the guns either seized,
found at crime scenes or otherwise taken by the police in Illinois in
2014 came from within the state. In some cases, criminals are stealing
guns for Chicago gangs. Last November, for example, a 36-year-old man
named Walter Freeman was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison for
selling at least 80 guns to gang members in Chicago. Freeman had
stolen the guns from a gun collector in Illinois.

In short, gangs are getting guns as all criminals do, by breaking
state and federal laws to steal them, tapping into a black market or
getting someone to break the law for them.

.........................

Welcome to Chicagoland, home of contradictions and misplaced blame.
This is a place where a 9-year-old boy was executed by a gang member
last fall because the boy’s father is in a rival gang that had
allegedly killed one of its members. As it turns out, (surprise,
surprise) the executioner, who has since been charged with the boy’s
murder, had been let out of jail early.

............................

It is therefore likely that Chicago is suffering from what has been
called the “Ferguson Effect,” where a political reaction might result
from more arrests and aggressive policing as cops take down armed gang
members. After a recent shooting by police, Obama’s DOJ opened an
investigation into the Chicago Police Department (CPD). Attorney
General Loretta E. Lynch said in a press release that the
“investigation will focus on CPD’s use of force, including racial,
ethnic and other disparities in use of force, and its systems of
accountability.”

With this racial tension in the air, it is doubly difficult for those
on the left side of politics to deal with Chicago’s gang warfare
aggressively.

So even though, with 95 homicides as of Feb. 22, Chicago’s murder rate
was double what it was on the same day last year—and by March 10 the
body count had reached 115—Emanuel and Obama haven’t shown any sign of
dropping the politics to do the right thing: forcefully arresting and
prosecuting bad guys to make the streets safer for the many good
residents of Chicago.

Interesting that Obama and his appointees are calling Liberal run and
Liberal policed Chicago, a HOT BED of Liberal racism.

I often do the same thing so maybe Obama and I agree on something, the
fact that Liberals are the true racists.

Putting aside for the moment your ludicrous misinterpretation of Obama, when
was the last time liberals enacted laws intended to make it harder for
minorities to vote?

Try answering the question for once, if it isn't too embarrassing for you.

You mean "any" legal voter to vote... because targeting minorities for
special treatment and protections or "unequal" protection of the law
would violate the 14th amendment.

The car seat laws for one, it makes voting harder.... Obama's
immigration laws that he changed and the drivers licenses for illegals
created confusion as to what persons are legal to vote making it harder
on legal minority residents who are confused with being illegals due to
names stolen or being the same. And I'm sure you meant making it harder
for "citizens" NOT making it harder for minorities since minorities are
nothing more than legal voters until someone is proven to be
discriminating against a protected class.... No one is guilty of
discriminating until after the court says it's discriminating.

This is all the same way that gun laws and background checks stop legal
citizens/Residents from buying a gun because they have a name that's
confused with someone that's a felon.

Apparently you want the 2nd amendment to be protected from laws enacted
that make it more difficult for minorities to buy guns and exercise that
right as well? And we know Liberals enact plenty of gun laws that make
it harder for minorities to buy guns, and going by your own definition
that makes you Liberals racists who are discriminating against minorities.

Nope. I knew it was too embarrassing for you.

It really is an indictment of whatever created you that you don't possess

Odd since you deprive those same minorities you discuss, from exercising

Then explain how a background check and the proper licensing and paper
work makes it easier for those minorities to exercise their 2nd
amendment rights, and at the same time requiring the exact same system
for voting rights manages to make it harder for them to exercise their
right to vote?

What you're saying is that you can make it harder for the minorities to
exercise the rights you don't want them to have, but for anyone else to
require the same of them for any rights would be racism.... you'll have
to explain that to me since it's contradicting and NOT logical.

We are discussing the constitution NOT just one right but all the rights
as they reflect what on one another in the constitution.

SO explain why you have contradicting views on rights when they are both
used by the poor minorities and you presume to do to one right what you
say I can't do to the other right. If you can pass laws to make it
harder for the minorities to get guns then why can't I do that same
thing to the minorities voting rights?

Remember all that stuff about equality and the 14th amendment, and equal
protect of the law, so what you can do to the minorities on one right, I
can do to the minorities on their other rights.

That is equal.

Most Liberal damage is done with the courts making laws, Liberals end up
forcing people to do things because what Liberals want as laws are
rejected by the public in general.

I often do the same thing so maybe Obama and I agree on something, the
fact that Liberals are the true racists.
Putting aside for the moment your ludicrous misinterpretation of Obama, when
was the last time liberals enacted laws intended to make it harder for
minorities to vote?
Try answering the question for once, if it isn't too embarrassing for you.
what has these voting laws to do with...
So it's too embarrassing for you too.
No just don't see how voting laws effect Chicago crime rate.
You don't need to, Topic Nanny.
So you think people have the right to murder? Liberal/progressive
attitude?
Why are you even trying to have a rational conversation with that hateful
little moron "Clave"? He's already proven that he isn't capable of it.
Clave is the most fascist, hate-filled, mean-spirited, envious, resentful, vicious, close-minded, violent, censoring, horse-punching, book-burning, ignorant, uneducated, unskilled, childish, prejudiced, racist, women-hating, man-hating, perverted, thieving, destructive, American-hating, Christian-hating, muslim-loving, communist, vulgar, dirty, smelly, regressive, restrictive, prohibitive, bed-wetting, and scared little lying thumbsucking being God has ever created.

Welcome to Usenet, Noob.

The idea that "liberals are the true racists" is not only ludicrous on its
face, it's contradicted by history -- among other things, the conservative
record of minority vote suppression. But I understand why you'd want to let
that horseshit claim stand unchallenged and try instead to make topic drift
the focus.

Just to clear up something else, you seem to be laboring under the
hilariously mistaken impression that I'm posting for any other reason than
to amuse myself.

I'm not. Perhaps you'd have better luck biting at someone else's ankles.

How To Fix The Crime Problem In Chicago
Let's look at the demographics. There are 2.7 million people in Chicago. 33% are
black. I'd suggest buying 900,000 one-way boat tickets to Africa would help. And well
worth the cost.

Wee Willie is so sorry his kind imported all those slaves.

You and all your confederate flag waving 'Southern heritage'

and ship your sorry asses out of the country.

That would be a win-win for all.

The slave traders were not "my kind". They were the biggest criminals who ever lived on
this Earth. I wish my ancestors had done the right thing -- and killed them all.
They done more harm to this country than any group of men ever has.

Were it not for the slave traders -- crime in this country would be about one half what it
is today. The average IQ would be 30 points higher. Welfare would be almost
nonexistent. The prison system would be very small.

I love the South. It's heritage and traditions. And its people. But I am not a lover
of the old Confederacy. It got some of my ancestors killed or wounded. And others were
impoverished. Why did the rich man want to secede ? So he could import more slaves.
Too bad my ancestors didn't shoot some of them. Instead -- they supported a "rich
man's war and a poor man's fight".

The end was very sad for my ancestors. They looked out the door and saw their family
fortune slouching down the road -- stealing everything that wasn't nailed down. No ---
I am no fan of the Confederacy.

No it doesn't. America has been going down hill for 400 years. America was at
it's best in the early 1600s. Then in August of 1619, it made a big mistake.

From a journal by John Rolfe dated early 1620.

"About the last of August come in a Dutch man of warre that sold us twenty negars".

Think what a great country we would be now if Rolfe had ordered his men to shoot all the
Dutchmen, sink the man of war -- and drown all the negars.

Actually, it would be cheaper to fly them there. Liberia is 5,280 miles from
Chicongo and ten hours by nonstop air. Assuming Liberia will take them in
(if they don't, U.S. Marines will make them see differently), a fleet of ten
747-400s, each with 660 passengers seated in a high-density one-class
layout, could move 6,600 Chicongonians a day, moving the entire lot from
O'Hare to Roberts Intl., Monrovia, in about 4.5 months. Each round trip,
returning empty or with minor cargo, would run about $1,347.39 per dindu,
about the same cost to the taxpayers as 2.5 weeks jail time, only this time
they won't be coming back.

It's been awhile since I've posted my "Modern Modest Proposal." Below is
something that started off as a one-paragraph intro to a TNB story I posted
in 1999 when there was a big stink raised over the deportation of some
Nigerians from the U.S. and Canada. The kaffirs wouldn't go quietly, and
had to be manacled, chained together, and under armed guard to keep them
under control during the entire trip, which was not a direct flight, but a
roundabout route that required several refueling stops (meaning that a media
circus would be waiting at each airport when the nigs were deplaned while
the tanks were topped off, as regulations require for passenger aircraft).
It was a fiasco from beginning to end, costing around $20,000 per deportee.
I just figured there had to be a better (read "more cost-effective") way for
civilized societies to humanely rid themselves of ethnic undesirables, and
so that intro became a post in itself, growing every time I'd use it as a
response to some naive mudpuppy mouthing of, "We're here to stay, hillbilly,
so get used to it," etc.

The last revision revived the concept of "loose pack" and "tight
pack" (remember "Roots"?). This one has to do with returning the
fecal-colored critters to their native soil -- literally.

It's interesting that the folks who really freak over this are not the usual
"flamers", but mainstream Liberals who stumble onto the thread and wig out
when they see this subject matter being presented in a casual manner, as if
the weather was being discussed. Here's the pre-9/11 2001 edition:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm just posting for all to see what a LOT of well-educated Whites only
discuss in private amongst themselves, away from the harassing presence of
fuck-you-White-boy, you-owe-me-something minorities that they became fed up
with a LONG time ago. The concept and practice of internment and exile has
been around for thousands of years, and you can rest assured that it will
revived and used again. Whenever someone says, "Send all the niggers back
to Africa," you niggers/whiggers laugh like hell and respond with the usual
get-a-life-you-racist-loser retort. Just keep in mind that the deportation
concept isn't something for shines and their whigger lackeys to scoff at.

Professor Andrew Hacker, in his book "Two Nations," notes: "Most
middle-class blacks do not consider it paranoid to imagine themselves one
day being confined behind barbed wire, not unlike Japanese-Americans during
World War II." I might add that many Whites don't consider it far-fetched
either.

Historically, when totalitarian states have uppity minorities raising hell,
the minorities are soon run out of the country, deported, or liquidated. No
democracy lasts forever, and when the U.S. ceases to be one, this is what
the jigs can expect:

Local police departments will do much of the initial round-up. During WWII,
a lot of the Jews who were packed off for the Final Solution were picked up
not by the SS or Gestapo, but by the local polizei who were "just enforcing
the law"-- The Nuremburg Laws. Whatever law is on the books, the cops will
enforce, whether they like it or not. Keep that in mind the next time you
hear Officer Friendly say, "We don't make the laws. We just enforce them."
Also, blacks would have a much tougher time trying to avoid detection and
detention because they can be physically identified, unlike the Jews, who
had to wear yellow stars to differentiate them from the local population.

The state of emergency that would result in these drastic measures may well
follow a series of racial mutinies in the U.S. Armed Forces following a
disastrous foreign intervention. Aside from historians, few people today
are aware of how, during both World Wars and during Korea, black "leaders"
in the U.S. urged black servicemen to desert, defect, mutiny, or commit
sabotage rather that take orders from their "White oppressors." In
desperation the Military may be re-segregated or the problem minorities will
simply be discharged en masse, so don't expect blacks in uniform to come to
the rescue of their "brothers". The blacks who remain in uniform will be
those who can't afford to lose their benefits and retirement, and they'll do
exactly what the Great White Father in Washington tells them.

Of course there would be massive resistance in the form of coast-to-coast
loot-and-burn Bongo Parties. That's also been taken into consideration, no
doubt. If afroids are reasonably well fed and healthy, they could be
expected to put up a quite a struggle. Things would change, though, if the
"hoods" were surrounded with barbed wire and armed guards, with all
utilities disconnected (gas, water, electricity, phone), and with a single
checkpoint allowing people in or out. All the racial undesirables trapped
within would have a choice: Die of hunger and thirst, or come out and be
deported. As was mentioned in the prior post, the word "ghetto" would
revert back to a meaning of another era, not as in "Harlem", but as in
"Warsaw".

Another way is simply to issue criminal warrants. The cop who runs the tag
number during a traffic stop won't know if the warrant that pops up is real
or fabricated, and the bruthahs will just be cuffed and stuffed (and
probably by a member of their own race). Once behind bars, they'd be
transferred to a holding center, probably a military base, to await the next
flight.

Louis Farrakhan's 1993 proposal to start a colony for the "African diaspora"
in a host African country relied heavily on labor supplied by black American
prison inmates, to be sent across the ocean much like the Imperial European
powers did with their felons in the 18th and 19th centuries. That way, the
first million or so could choose between rotting in prison or following a
black Pied Piper in his quest to "start a new nation." Indentured servitude
wasn't ignored either, as he proposed using black college students to come
to his new nation and use their "skills" to work off the costs of tuition
and passage.

Then, of course, is this business of "dual citizenship" offered to members
of the "African diaspora," not unlike that offered by Israel to Jews
anywhere in the world. If an African country, say, Ghana, granted this to
blacks, there would be something akin to a voluntary "exodus", but it would
be one-way, because once they left U.S. soil, their American citizenship
would be revoked, and they wouldn't be allowed back in -- ever. If no
countries would take them in voluntarily, then one or several would be
selected (preferably those whose populations had been decimated by AIDS or
famine), their governments forcibly replaced by U.S.-friendly ones
(something the CIA has made into a fine art), and their "international
airports" converted into disembarkation points for the exiles.

"Putting the niggers on boats and sending them back" sounds good, but it
wouldn't be cost-effective. The U.S. lacks the merchant marine fleet it had
years ago. It would actually be cheaper in the long run to fly them there,
packed into DC-10, MD-11, L-1011, or 747 freighter-conversions. That way
they wouldn't have to be fed or looked after, because they would be at their
destination within hours. Keep in mind that it costs $20,000 or more per
year in taxes in keep them in prison here, and even more to keep Welfare
sluts pumping out two-legged meal tickets. By using a high-volume freight
aircraft, with all furnishings removed and occupants (1,000 or more) either
penned up or secured to the freight deck, the cost per deportee could be
reduced to as little as $350.

The French have already started doing this with afro-nationals:
-------------------------------------------------
<Harry> wrote in message news:***@4ax.com...

Fighting racism: lessons from France

By Sam Wainwright

"Last August 23, police smashed down the doors of the Saint Bernard Church
in
Paris. Using handcuffs and chloroform, they dragged out the illegal
immigrants sheltering inside and put them on an Air France charter to
Africa."

"In a last desperate act of defiance, the deportees trashed the interior of
the plane. Nowadays recalcitrant deportees are handcuffed and have their
mouths taped over to prevent them shouting, biting, or spitting; some have
suffocated as a result."

"Former interior minister Jean-Louis Debre justified his government's
crackdown by describing 'illegals' as being like people who '.. walk
through your front door without asking and help themselves to the fridge.'"
--------------------------------------------------------
For once I can agree with French policy. If only our own politicos had the
guts to say and do the same.

The nearest African country that would be suitable for the Great
Afro-American Exile would be Liberia. Founded by ex-slaves, it has no
former European colonial "master" to whine to if American troops suddenly
invade, oust the political leaders, and set up a new government headed by,
say, an American "Nation of Islam" leader. Future Farrakhans (or black
Christian "Reverends") would jump at the chance to be running the show, as
"house niggers" in charge of "field niggers," who would eventually replace
the native inhabitants. Any resistance from neighboring countries would be
quickly be snuffed out with chemical/biological weapons, and a cover story
about a new deadly disease outbreak (Ebola, Marburg, Lassa fever, etc.)
would be enough to make outsiders think twice before coming there to
investigate.

The logical embarkation point would be in Florida (4,500 miles from Liberia,
well within the non-stop reach of most transcontinental aircraft),
preferably on an Air Force base, not only for the sake of security, but
because heavily-laden aircraft will be needing the longer runways for
takeoffs. Eglin AFB would be a good choice, because of already existing
federal prison facilities.

Some extra modifications would have to be made to each aircraft, similar to
those used for hauling large live animals (horses, cattle), because unless
the afro-exiles are somehow secured in place with chains, manacles, or other
restraints, they'd tend to pile up in the rear of the fuselage on takeoff or
become bongoid at altitude and create a forced-landing situation (any
emergency exits would already be sealed or removed). The interior of the
cabin would have to be partitioned off into lockable compartments every
10-20 feet, depending on the aircraft model (about one cabin diameter in
length), so that if things got rowdy, the disturbance would be confined to
that particular cage. It would also be worth the cost to install a pressure
bulkhead between the crew compartment and the passenger cabin, along with
the installation of valves that, at the push of a button in the cockpit,
would depressurize the nigger section. At 37,000 feet, any would-be "aerial
Amistad" would come to an end in about 30 seconds.

Stripped of furnishings, including the galley and lavatories, each aircraft
would be able to haul considerably more as a freighter than as a passenger
transport. Just like their slave ancestors, the afroids would be considered
cargo and would be loaded aboard on a per-ton basis, with each load varying
with the aircraft type:

Model 4,500 mile load

747-200 127 tons

747-400 153 tons

767-200 52 tons

767-400ER 68 tons

777-200 70 tons

777-200ER 125 tons

DC-10-30 66 tons

MD-11 96 tons

L-1011-250 44 tons

A310 30 tons

A330-200 60 tons

A340-300 75 tons

A340-600 113 tons

Packed inside, stranding room only, with two square feet per afroid, up to
1,800 at a time could be moved across the Atlantic, with a flight time of
8-9 hours. Once in their new "homeland," it would be up to their
'edumacated' fellow Afro-American leaders in the new government to look
after them. Of course, TNB being what it is, DAFN behavior would soon set
in, with the "colony" quickly turning into a supermegagiant Jonestown, and
probably two-thirds of the new arrivals would be dead within a year, but
with blacks running the show, they couldn't very easily pin the blame on the
White folks, now, could they?

BTW, if you think moving millions of warm bodies en masse sounds
far-fetched, consider this:

If a "fleet" consisting of one example of each of the aircraft listed above
was put into this service, with one hour of ground time (maintenance, etc.)
for every two hours spent in the air, in one year these thirteen planes
could deport 5.5 MILLION IQ-75 DAFN's. Increase the number of aircraft by a
factor of six and -- guess what-- you come upon a very familiar
demographical population number.

Getting the bruthas and sistahs to Florida would involve a surprisingly
small number of short-to-medium-range commericial airliners, again set up
like the "heavies" above, only since these would be taking off and landing
within the U.S., and often from civilian runways, four square feet per
afroid ("loose pack") would be allowed so that take-off weights would remain
within safe limits:

Model Avg. # of nigs/flight

EJR-135 90

CRJ 100

EJR-145 125

DC-9-30 215

717-200 215

737-200 215

A318 220

737-500 225

A319 235

737-800 300

A320 300

MD-80 340

A321 345

MD-90 350

727-200 360

757-200 360

A300 620

A fleet made up of one example of each of the aircraft above could move, in
the same one-year period, 4.125 million nigs from their present location to
the Florida deportation center. By adding five 737-800's to those above, it
would be possible to keep the transatlantic aircraft supplied with "cargo"
24/7.

This hypothetical model of 13 heavies and 22 lights would be well within the
operating limits of the local airspace, with a flight coming in on the
average of one per hour and a heavy every two hours.

This model also is based on a mixed cargo complement of bucks, ho's and
niglets. Once the weight of the adults (even the Hattie McDaniel clones)
has been offset by assorted niglets, rug rats, curtain climbers, porch
monkeys, and yard apes, the average weight per "diasporan" would be about
100 pounds, although the actual load would depend on the aircraft type and
flight route.

By convenient coincidence, a large portion of the black population is
already within a 700-mile radius of the "jump off" point:

http://www.demographics.com/publications/AD/96_ad/9611_ad/9611A14.HTM

The small, short-range jets like the 717, the Embraers and the Canadair
would be best suited for this, while the medium range models such as the
737's, DC-9, and MD-80/90 would be suitable for handling pickups in NYC, DC,
Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Houston, etc. Los Angeles, Seattle, and other
cities on the West coast would be best served by the A300, 757, and 727.

Should more long-range heavies like the 747-400 and A340-600 become
available, it would be possible to make direct flights from just about
anywhere in the continental U.S. to Liberia with a "tight pack." The 747
could theoretically handle in excess of 1,500 ghetto dwellers on a
6,700-mile nonstop flight L.A. to Monrovia. The A340 could move about 1,700
at a time from Chicago or Detroit.

Aircraft turnaround procedures once a load of exiles has disembarked at
Monrovia would soon settle down into a routine. Having been without
sanitary facilities for 8-9 hours, not to mention the "tight-pack"-induced
stress of the trip, there will no doubt be a considerable mess to clean up,
which could be performed by the "indentured servants" who are working off
the costs of their tuition and passage. Eventually, with teamwork, they'd
have a system down for the most efficient removal of urine, feces,
miscarried niglets, and 400-pound cardiac-arrested niggermammy carcasses.

Since most of the resistance to African diseases has been bred out of the
burrheads during their "400 years of oppression," a high mortality rate will
have to be dealt with. At first, with most of the transferees dwelling in
the Monrovia area, "bring out your dead" trucks would have to make daily
rounds, collecting corpses that could be disposed of a variety of manners:

1) Mass graves have an embarrassing habit of yielding incriminating
evidence years after the fact, so it would be a good idea to allow the
ex-diasporans to feed the local wildlife. Considering the climate, even
without large scavengers like hyenas and vultures, 170 lbs. of homie becomes
40 lbs. of bones within 10 days, when can then be gathered and either dumped
at sea in deep water or airdropped into the jungle, far away from any
settlements.

2) Direct airdrop would be a novel way of continuing the nitrogen cycle.
Second-hand C-130's could haul off 40,000 lbs of kaffir carcasses at a time
and return them to the ecosystem from 20,000 feet, preferably over jungle at
least 100 miles from "civilization." Corpses dumped at sea tend to float
and remain intact, often for weeks, as the Argentines found out when they
got rid their political opponents 1975-82 and ships at sea began
encountering bodies hundreds of miles from the nearest land. A sudden
after-midnight windfall of nigra meat in the primeval rain forest, however,
would go unnoticed, save for the ubiquitous scavengers. I can just hear it
now: "If 400 kaffirs crash through the forest canopy, and there are no
natives around to hear it, do they make any noise?"

How To Fix The Crime Problem In Chicago
Let's look at the demographics. There are 2.7 million people in Chicago. 33% are
black. I'd suggest buying 900,000 one-way boat tickets to Africa would help. And well
worth the cost.
Obama says we can't deport enough of the 12 million illegal aliens to
make a difference, then Obama illegally imports undocumented Muslims
form Syria because importing 10,000 - 100,000 will make a difference.

So why didn't Obama spend that money and effort deporting 100,000 more
illegal aliens or building the fence that congress has already
appropriated the money for?

The contradictions of the Liberal/Democrats is plain for all to see.

Republicans are quite good at pointing out what others do wrong with
things. They aren't quite so good at producing solutions. In fact, they
never do.

Now, where is the solution?

Let’s say you run Chicago. And let’s say the social scientists,
criminologists and community activists come to you and say gang
violence is going crazy—crazy enough in some neighborhoods to make
Chicago the per-capita murder capital of the United States.
Do you face reality and try to solve the problem by, you know, going
after the people committing murder and by getting government
restrictions out of the way so good people can protect themselves?

Probably right next to the Obamacare replacement.
You must be seeing thing others can't "Obamacare replacement"?
Republicans are quite good at pointing out what others do wrong with

Now, where is the solution?
Well for one stop telling these murdering gang members they have a
excuse you accept for killing. Then admit it is cultural problem
also.

Remove being politically correct from the discussion do we can really
look for a solution.

criminologists and community activists come to you and say gang
violence is going crazy--crazy enough in some neighborhoods to
make Chicago the per-capita murder capital of the United States.
Do you face reality and try to solve the problem by, you know,
going after the people committing murder and by getting
government restrictions out of the way so good people can protect
themselves?

Probably right next to the Obamacare replacement.

Republicans are quite good at pointing out what others do wrong with
things. They aren't quite so good at producing solutions. In fact,
they never do.
Now, where is the solution?

See my post above.
Any questions?
You refer to the "kill all the criminals" post, I assume.

How about we kill all those most likely to become criminals too, Fred?
After all, a new crop appears daily.

That would seem to be gun owners and Republicans.

Freeman had

In short, gangs are getting guns as all criminals do, by breaking

allegedly killed one of its members.

Sorry, perhaps I missed it, where was the solution as mentioned in the
subject header?
Stop viewing the police as racial problems and let them do their job.
Stop dismissing gang activity as a result of guns and racial oppression.
Let criminals spend their entire sentence incarcerated not an average of
58%. Put back something along the lines of stop n frisk for the police.

For example: The Fourth Amendment requires that the police have a
reasonable suspicion that a crime has been, is being, or is about to be
committed before stopping a suspect. If the police reasonably suspect the
person is armed and dangerous, they may conduct a frisk, a quick pat-down
of the person's outer clothing.

Probably right next to the Obamacare replacement.
Obamacare (or ACA whichever you prefer seems) to be dying of its own
accord. Blue Cross will most likely be dropping it along with United
Healthcare (the largest medical insurer in the US) will this next signing
period. Interestingly, that will be right around the election. IIRC,
sign up runs from October to late November.

The initial posting suggested that "[someone] was sentenced to 16
years in federal prison for selling [...] guns to gang members in
Chicago. [The person] had stolen the guns from [local] gun collectors"

The posting continued: "In short, [criminals] are getting guns [...]
by breaking state and federal laws to steal them".

That posting is probably accurate. If we assume it is, from whom do
they steal the guns originally? If you look at loss reports from
insurance carriers, you will find that guns are the item most
frequently reported stolen in residential burglaries.

You're trying to have it both ways: 1) Criminals simply steal their
guns; therefore, gun laws don't work; and 2) but they don't steal them
from gun owners. Duuuuh?

Well, BJS numbers are a box of chocolates... you choose the ones you
like and ignore the rest.

The question is: Where did these illegally obtained guns first enter
the market place? Somebody bought that gun and resold it... or left
it under the seat of their car while they ran in to buy a lottery
ticket... whatever.

I know how to fix our gun problem: when you buy a gun, you're
responsible for it!

Oh, CRAP! We all know that the 'R'-word only means *rights*. The
term "responsibility" is really a four-letter word; the liberals
rewrote the dictionary.

Take my quiz:

I want to steal a gun; where should I go to do so?

A) The home of an unarmed HCI member.

B) The local Methodist Church.

C) A convenience store.

D) The home of a person who has lots of guns.

(The correct answer is 'D'.)

The Texas outlaw Sam Bass was once asked in an apocryphal interview:
"Why do you rob banks?" It was claimed that he answered: "Because
that's where they keep the money."

You want it both ways:
1) Chicago has lots of crime because there aren't enough guns.
2) If a Chicago thug wants a gun, he simply steals one.

If there aren't any guns in Chicago, then from whom does he steal it?

Here's my point: Chicago has one hell of a lot of guns. If it's a
violent place, the reason is *not* because they're a bunch of unarmed
granola hippies living in communes. They're all armed to the teeth!

Babbling nonsense. In Chicago until forced otherwise it was virtutally
impossible to "own lots of guns" Guns in honest hands were kept minimal.
You seem to think like all Libs that "gunfree zone" signs work.

Hey if a criminal wants a gun they are EASY to get. Every cop has a

Right.

OK, then please tell us from whom the bad guys steal their copious
quantities of guns. We have seen claims that they always (or usually)
acquire them locally, which is dubious; however, if that's so, than
*somebody* must be able to get guns from whom the bad guys steal them.

Well, if we didn't have any cars, then it would follow logically that
there wouldn't be any to steal.

Look at *your* logic:

1) The reason Chicago has a high violent crime rate is because the
liberals have banned all of the guns.

2) The criminals just steal their guns locally.

It sounds to me like the reason people in the City of the Big
Shoulders can't protect themselves is because they let people steal
all of their guns; what does that have to do with the liberals? What
difference does it make whether we have gun laws or not if you're
going to allow criminals to walk in and take them away from you.

Didn't you ever watch any Bronson movies? I bet they wouldn't have
taken Bronson's guns away from him; no siree-Bob! (You don't have to
worry about the government taking your guns if the criminals already
have all of them.)

Errr, incorrect. They only avoid those homes if the owners are home. Go

Nonsense! The average "armed citizen" is utterly ineffective at
shooting. He or she probably couldn't hit the ocean from a boat
consistently unless you counted ricochets off of light houses.
Besides, any burglar worth his *beans* makes sure the home is
unoccupied.

A stolen gun is actually worth quite a bit *more* than a similar gun
in a retail store... it cannot be traced. This is why you can gain a
decent markup on the secondary market. You will pay significantly
more for a gun from a private seller than you could have paid
purchasing the same gun from a retail seller... and completing the
paperwork, of course. If you can't pass a background check, you have
no choice... besides stealing it yourself, I mean.

The Armed Citizen® (326)
Read these amazing stories which highlight accounts of law-abiding gun
owners in America using their Second Amendment rights for self-defense
in this online edition of the Armed Citizen®.

Gut feelings paid off for a 65-year-old New Hampshire woman who ended up
shooting a man who tried to mug her. The unidentified grandmother said
that she got a “funny feeling” when she pulled out of a gas station
parking lot after a late night at work and noticed a dark sedan
following her. As she walked from her car to her apartment, she said she
saw a man getting out of that same car. With that, she reached into her
purse and got her hand around her legally owned handgun. The suspected
mugger accosted her, and when he went to grab her, she pulled out her
gun and shot him. He was taken to a hospital and treated for the wound.
The police are investigating the case. (New Hampshire Union Leader,
Manchester, NH, 1/5/16)

The Armed Citizen® Extra
Eight Lansing, Mich., teens were taken into custody, several of them
wounded, after their robbery attempt was foiled by an armed resident.
The group attempted to break into a home, leading to an exchange of
gunfire with the homeowner. Three of the culprits were struck by the
resident’s defensive fire, one receiving a wound to the leg that hit a
major artery. Emergency room physicians later credited a Lansing police
officer with saving the teen’s life by applying a tourniquet. It
required an hours-long manhunt in the area, which closed down three
local schools, for police to capture all eight males involved in the
botched burglary. No injuries to the armed citizen were reported.

The "Armed Citizen" is a column in the "American Rifleman" magazine
which is a publication of the "National Rifle Association" (NRA) which
is the official lobby of the gun industry. Would you expect the
cattlemen's lobby to extol the virtues of a vegan diet? I'm not
exactly vegan; however, if I wanted solid dietary information, I would
not go to someone with a vested interest in selling me on a food
product. Similarly, the NRA is in the business of promoting guns, not
disseminating accurate information. If you want good information, the
source cannot be in the gun-selling business.

It's the same for any product.

Right, Jones. Go to the Violence Policy Center for the REAL scoop on
what guns can do. Or just check with any Lib Progie. They are very much
into telling the truth about everything.

That's right, when the message is accurate and truthful but you don't
like it, attack the messenger. The "Armed Citizen" is made up stuff,
it's the NRA referring readers to actual news stories first reported
elsewhere.

Good boy! You CAN read!

It's a pity you read your Violence Policy Center newsletter with such
zeal and pay no attention to anything else.

The average "armed citizen" is utterly ineffective at shooting.
You have no evidence of that, but if it is true, then so is
the average cop. But you would have people dial 911 and wait
for the police to clean up a crime scene than dial 1911 and
just maybe stop the crime in the first place.

This is typical of anti-gunner arguments.

Why, unless you've got your Marine Corps Expert Rifleman badge, you'll
never survive a gunfight against a skilled, savvy, and cunning
criminal.

The criminals that have broken into your house have all graduated from
the Close-Cover-Before-Striking School of Criminology, and have taken
many courses in Stealing, Mayhem, Illegal Arts, Robbery, Stealth, and,
of course, heavy firearms training and marksmanship.

There is no way you will survive an encounter with one of these
criminal ninjas. Clinical studies have proven it. We have anecdotes.

You might win. It all depends on who pulls his gun out the quckest -- and shoots. You
or the thief. Of course -- while you are home practicing your quick draw -- you may
accidentally kill your wife or children. But -- that's part of being a gun nut.

Burglars deliberately target homes known to have guns. There are two
reasons: 1) guns have the best resale value and 2) people who are well
armed are also frequently careless and complacent.
Jones

Errr, incorrect. They only avoid those homes if the owners are home. Go
out for dinner, see a movie, etc.. and whn you come home your guns may be
gone if they were simply in the bedside table drawer. Shit, your kid may
take them to sell them to help support his oxycodone habit.
BTW, you stated that guns on the street have poor resale value. Compared
to legal purchases that is true, but then the person selling it has little
or no money in it. Whatever he or she gets is profit.
Plus,
Post by Klaus Schadenfreude
burglaries are harder to accomplish because people who are armed tend
to be more aware of their surroundings and security.
Right....that is why so many of them are getting shot from guns in the
hands of their children. ;)
Given that "any" is too many, the truth is that for the amount of
weaponry out there, there actually aren't very many getting shot by
their children. The only reason you're aware of it at all is that any
time it happens becomes a huge news story.

Well, the way it's been traditionally handled is to lock up small-time
marijuana dealers and users for years while putting repeat violent
offenders on probation, turning them loose to terrorize for years until
they finally get caught committing murder. Then the budget cuts come,
and the violent lifers deemed "low-risk" are freed while the druggies
remain imprisoned.

As in most U.S. cities, most of the violent crime occurs in black
neighborhoods. Liberal sociologists identify them as "low-income"
neighborhoods, and it is true that more violence occurs in poor white
neighborhoods too, but not to the extreme extent of Southside Chicago.

One way to solve the black crime problem is a process called
"gentrification," in which higher-income white yuppies move into a
neighborhood and raise rents and eventually drive out the lower-
income blacks. White liberals abhor gentrification and practice it
themselves, especially in desirable cities like San Francisco where
the black population has plummeted to 6% and even the seedy
Tenderloin district is beginning to be overrun by yupsters. Chicago
is not exactly the funnest or most scenic city in the country.

Ironically, the process of gentrification has created the phenomenon
of "black flight" to the suburbs. White liberals like the densely
populated cities, with convenient access to restaurants, shops,
public transportation, etc., so the blacks are chased out into the
suburbs, which quickly become social and economic deserts as the
remaining whites flee to newer 'burbs, or back to the cities they
fled generations ago. Suburbs have no public transportation, no
industries, and what little commerce that occurs is in strip malls
located miles apart. Suburbs are the new black ghettos.
